TCC Event - A Day with BlogHer

Center Piece at Breakfast by Demdaco & Starbucks
Wow! This is going to be somewhat short because I am EXHAUSTED!!
My BRAIN IS FRIED from all the info thrown at us today!
It started with a great breakfast to get us going for our day with several amazing blogger-led panels telling us how they do just what they do!
All sponsored by the women at BlogHer.
We learned so much about blogging today that I am a little overwhelmed! What I can say is this, embrace social networking/media as much as you can stand it! That means Twitter, FaceBook, .ning, YouTube, commenting on other blogs & sooooo much more that I can't even begin to tell you here! I will have my work cut out for me when I get home!! Can you say "Re-vamp?"

Throughout the day, I met so many amazing women & exchanged cards & info with ALL of them! I can't wait to have a minute to go through the cards & visit some blogs & Etsy shops!!!

At lunch, we got to hear from Nora Abousteit of Burda Style, Becky Higgins of Becky Higgins LLC & Project Life, & Stacie Julian of Big Picture Classes, about how all of them got their start & how they keep things going & remain sane! It was wonderful to hear their stories!! (I will add a little more later about all that.)

At dinner, we heard from Jo Packham who started the TCC events last year & is responsible for the Where Woment Create & Where Women Cook Magazines. I think she is just amazing! She has done so much for creative women everywhere! I even got a picture with her this evening! As well as Becky Higgins AND, wait for it...

And yes, he's just as adorable in person as he is on the web & in magazines!!

He spoke a little bit to us too, but the main speakers of the evening were the beautiful & talented Christina Ferrare of Chirstina Cooks on the O Network, & Holly Becker of Decor8. Both women had amazing stories to tell about how they got to where they are now & shared so many inspiring words with us.

We got the now "notorious" TCC Event Swag-bags tonight full of lots of interesting goodies from artists & sponsors! Can't wait to show you all that when I get a camera cable!!! Not to mention the giant bag of Starbucks coffee this morning with an adorable tea towel & more goodies at lunchtime! (Kim, the coffee is ALL yours baby!)

Tomorrow is a full day of classes starting at 8am & ending with a book signing cocktail party!! So, I am off tho lulliby land!
