New York State of Mind - A Mini-Album

Hi all!

Here's a little linky to the post of Kim's fun NY mini she created using die cuts from Creative Cuts & More...

This is our last post as Design Team members for CC&M (run by a delightful local Denver woman, Terry Bracciodieta who cuts any of the dies on her site in a large variety of papers, chipboard & acetate for you, including cards & albums!)

Kim Wins a Challenge for Altered Pages!

Kim did this great little mini using images from Altered Pages so that she could enter her first challenge & she WON!! The challenge was titled "Last Flowers of Summer" & we had to use images or stamps purchased through Altered Pages...Kim decided to use a collage sheet featuring Norma Shearer.

But instead of using plain old cardstock or ATC cards to play with for her images, she REALLY thought outside the box & used the packaging from a Starbucks Via Coffee sample!! Here is the WINNING result!

MY SISTER ROCKS!!! I am always amazed at the creative spin she puts on her projects!!!

Now, let's get started! When you think of summer, don't you always think of the 4th of July?? It's kinda hard not to if you're from the States!! All the BBQ parties & fireworks!! Always a wonderful memory!!

Kim used the Filagree Rectangle Window 8x8 album (with the vertical window & top opening) for her project today...in Bazzill's "Dragon Fly" Criss Cross cardstock.

She filled in the window with that adorable vintage image for the cover. Each 8x8 cardstock page is glued back to back with Red Tacky Tape (also available at CC&M!) to give the album a sturdy feel. But you can also order the Album Kit with thin chipboard to adhere the pages to!
